Functional, Integral, and Delay Dynamical Models of Real World Phenomena

Elena Braverman (University of Calgary), Anatoli Ivanov (Pennsylvania State University), Erik Verriest (Georgia Institute of Technology)

Numerous phenomena of real world around us are described by evolution equations with aftereffects which include functional and functional-differential, in particular delay and integral, equations. In the last several decades, such equations have become an important mathematical tool in describing dynamics of various processes in science and engineering. This special session will be devoted to all theoretical and applied aspects of such equations and models, their development and interactions.
