Computational Number Theory

Chester Weatherby (Wilfrid Laurier University), Michael Jacobson (University of Calgary)

Many aspects of number theory have become active areas of research because of the advent of computers. Some examples include primality testing, elliptic curves, or calculations of L-functions. This session will discuss various aspects of number theory, and their relations to computers and computation.
