Mathematics of Systems with Delay

Elena Braverman (University of Calgary), Anatoli Ivanov (Pennsylvania State University), and Erik Verriest (Georgia Institute of Technology)

Dynamical systems with time delay are powerful tools in modeling numerous real-world phenomena. Such models are described by a wide variety of evolution equations with aftereffects which include functional and functional-differential, in particular delay and integral, equations. In the last several decades, equations with delay have become increasingly important and influential in science and engineering. This special session is devoted to all theoretical and applied aspects of equations and models with time delays, their development, and interactions.
